Whenever children complained something happened, we adults tend to answer them, "there, I told you so..". then the kids cannot say much and keep quite, You think you win this time, next time, he will not tell you anything that happened to him because he expected an answer "I told you so".

Journey  with them. Life is rewarding. What was thought right yesterday may not be right today. Ride with time. Change our mindset before we can change others.

Just came back from  Lantern Festival  celebrated with Teachers and staff of my son's school. The students made lantern by using recycling stuff, very creative though. Dare to try new things, being care free, idea flows. Do not keep them in the box,so that they can think out of the box.

Happiness

At the end of the day, what most people really want in life is to be happy.

Many people believe that happiness comes from obtaining certain objects. They say things like,
"I’ll be so happy when I get my new iphone!"
However, the happiness associated with obtaining these objects is usually short term only . Have you ever received something you really wanted only to have it end up sitting on a shelf gathering dust a few weeks later? I know I have!
So, if lasting happiness can’t be found by obtaining ‘things’, how can we increase the levels of happiness in our lives?
I believe that the best way to obtain lasting happiness is to bring happiness into the lives of others. The most amazing thing about happiness is that the more you give away to others, the more you receive for yourself.
So, whenever you’re feeling a little low and need a dose of happiness, one of the best things you can do is to focus on making someone else happy. Remember… even a smile can lift up someone!

Living for a cause

Suicide cases of the young generation are on the rise these day, I kept asking myself why. Perhaps their life is meaningless to them. Many a time when we are about to give up on doing something, what keeps us going? A sense of responsibilities. If they feel they don't have to be responsible towards anybody including their families and friends or the society, they can take their life just as they wish.

As  parent, I always instill the idea to my children that life do not belong to them, I have fought hard to bring them up, I have gone through terrible child birth, sleepless night when they are sick. As a mother, I am not given any day off, no public holiday, no rest day and so on. So, they have responsibilities to take care of themselves inclusive of their life. Be thankful to your mother on your birthday. Children, you owe it to me.

Be Yourself

Chris shared with me that he has become an icon among his classmate that he is  the person who will not give up easily. He persist if he know that is his dream. Simply work hard to achieve it. Whenever some friends wish to give up on their pursuit., they will think of him and persist. Cheers....
