Simple 16th birthday celebration

With A slice of chocolate cake from the Secret Recipe and a small glass of  Wamssler Sparkling Mead, my sweet 16 boy celebrated his birthday happily. My wishes for him are "Be happy and stay healthy. Be yourself. Happy birthday to you, Brandon.

简单的16岁生日

前天是我老二16岁的生日，我只准备了2粒红红的鸡蛋和实了一片小蛋糕给他。晚歺时间和他一人吃一粒红鸡蛋。补习班后已经是晚上10点多了，他吃了蛋糕后我建议喝一点红酒，干杯时祝福他快乐开心和健康，他说这么一个祝福是他想要的。爸爸在外地工作也给他搖了电话祝福他生日快乐，问他是否有想要的生日礼物？他回答：“没有，不需要破费”，哥哥在外地读书也搖了电话祝福他生曰快乐，和哥哥 谈一谈自己对学业担忧和不太能够掌握的话题，哥哥给了一些鼓励的話及分享他的经验后,他就开开心心的去睡觉了。心里好感恩有一个这么乖巧的儿子。（后记：孩子患有脑積水，出世六天就动了脑部输通脑積水手术）

How to keep myself young and energetic

To me, to remain young and energetic, first of all, I must keep my mind active by learning new things, be it culinary Lesson, public speaking, health therapy, exercises, dance, and the list goes on.
Another thing is I always like to talk to Younger generations and learn  new thing from them especially on IT, new technology and their view points toward life.

Life after 50 for elder sister

Today is my eldest sister - Theresa's birthday. she is 59. She had struggled to earn a living since her marriage at the age of 23. She and her husband run a restaurant in a town in the state of Johor. I can still vividly remember that she only visited our family home once a year on the eve of Chinese New Year. She works throughout the year. With perseverance and hard works, she and her husband have owned stuff. They owned businesses, land, shop lots, houses. They let their children run the business and play the Advisory roles to them. They started to travel to oversea a couples of years back. They travelled pretty frequent last year for holidays. Tomorrow she is traveling to Korea with her husband. Happy Birthday to you my beloved sister and happy holiday in Korea. Wishing you a safe and enjoyable trip.

They have give their best

Everybody like to be appreciated. But why is it so difficult to show little appreciation to those  who had put in their best and say "well Done" to them. Dear children. Keep up your good work

Whenever children complained something happened, we adults tend to answer them, "there, I told you so..". then the kids cannot say much and keep quite, You think you win this time, next time, he will not tell you anything that happened to him because he expected an answer "I told you so".


Journey  with them. Life is rewarding. What was thought right yesterday may not be right today. Ride with time. Change our mindset before we can change others.

Just came back from  Lantern Festival  celebrated with Teachers and staff of my son's school. The students made lantern by using recycling stuff, very creative though. Dare to try new things, being care free, idea flows. Do not keep them in the box,so that they can think out of the box.
