Chris is quite good in academic but not so in games or sports. He wants to strike some balance and working on it by joining somekind of leadership camp. He had been label "book worm" throughout his secondary life.
Keep it up Chris, Hope to hear good news from you.

You think your 14 years old can handle it
After 1 week into the new school term, my son came home very furiously and tears in eye ..... Sign that he needs help.
"Calm down boy, just explain what happen." I said to him." Mom, My teacher wants to to rewrite my name on the exercise book cover in Capital letter without using a correction tape or eraser and no noticeable changes be made. I just don't know how mum..". "Any suggestion boy?" I want to use another new exercise book cover and replace it. but don't have idea how to staple it exactly?" He answered.
"Son, can I send it to the stationery shop to fix it tomorrow as I have to attend a meeting and need to have my dinner. I know it can be done easily."
Tears started to roll down. This small issue to an adult is too big for him to handle. He just can't have his dinner. He is facing a problem.
I decided to rush to the shop and got it done for him. He is relieved after he saw the exercise book and is happy to do washing up of the dishes and I rush to attend my meeting.
I explained to him the next day why he has to stay calm in life when something happen. I don't think he will listen to me if I have not solved his problem.
Growing with you teen needs your time.
